SUMMARY:Career Connection Summer Camp
DESCRIPTION:NSU is offering a Career Connection summer camp for students aged 13-15 on July 9-10. The camp is free. Registration is now open on a first-come\, first-served basis at https://www.nsula.edu/career-connection.\n\n\n\nThe camp is co-hosted by Northwestern's Office of Counseling and Career Services\, the Office of Recruiting and the Division of Student Affairs. \n\n\n\nCareer Connection will let students explore some of the exciting hands-on education experiences offered at Northwestern. This innovative summer program connects students with hands-on learning experiences across various academic disciplines and career paths\, fostering early career exploration and academic engagement. \n\n\n\nSubjects to be covered include art\, athletic training\, cooking\, money management\, technical theatre\, computer information systems\, healthcare\, media and industrial and electronics engineering. Instructors will include NSU faculty and community professionals. \n\n\n\nCampers must have tennis shoes and athletic clothes since participants will be walking to academic buildings for sessions. \n\n\n\nCheck-in begins at 7:30 a.m. each day. Camp activities are from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on day one and from 8 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. on day two. Campers should bring their own lunch. An afternoon snack will be provided on both days.
