DESCRIPTION:As businesses across our community face ongoing workforce challenges\, early exposure for high school students through internships\, job shadowing\, and work-based learning has become a powerful tool for building a strong\, prepared talent pipeline. \n\nJanuary's Chamber Breakfast Club meeting will highlight how local employers can play a direct role in shaping the future workforce\, while also gaining immediate value through student engagement.\n\n\n\nHere's why you should attend:\n\n\n	\n	Understand High School Work-Based Learning - Gain clarity on what high school internships and work experiences actually look like and how they differ from college-level programs.\n	\n	\n	Hear Real Experiences - Learn directly from local employers who have already worked with NPSB and Career Compass to build the program on what works\, what is impactful to the students\, and how these opportunities benefit all parties. \n	\n	\n	Build Your Talent Pipeline - Discover how early engagement helps businesses develop future employees\, strengthen retention\, and invest in local talent. \n	\n	\n	Take Action - Be a part of a collective effort to reach a community-wide goal for employer participation and help recruit others to join the initiative. \n	\n\n\nGuest speakers to be announced.\n\n\n\nWhat is the Cost?\n\n$25 for members and $30 for non-members. Just to remind you\, members at the Grow (Preferred) level or higher have tickets included with their membership. No Shows will be billed\n\n\n\nParking Information:\n\nWe ask that attendees avoid parking in the Sleep Center lot so patients have space to park. Parking is available in the Bienville Circle parking lot or the Dixie Plaza parking lot lot behind Raising Cane's.
