Events kick off Thursday from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. with a FREE reception at the Louisiana Sports Hall of Fame and Northwest Louisiana History Museum. This event kicks off the Induction Celebration Weekend as Natchitoches welcomes the 2024 Inductees with a lively happy hour featuring local cuisine and entertainment. We will also be opening our latest exhibit "Showtime: LSU's Spectacular Pistol Pete" that evening. This exhibition explores the life and legacy of Pistole Pete through the images of John Musemeche and Musemeche Photography in Baton Rouge. John Musemeche's reflections on Maravich also play a key role in filmmaker Drew Tewell's short documentary about Pistol Pete\, "We Were Fans" which is included in this exhibition.\n\n\n\nOther LSHOF induction weekend events start Friday with a Celebrity Bowling Bash in Alexandria and ends with the 2024 Rockin' River Fest on the downtown riverbank stage and VIP Tase of Tailgating. On Saturday\, the Junior Training Camp will be held on NSU's campus\, and the Round Table Luncheon will be held at Riverside Reserve at noon.
