Elvin and his family lived on Oakland Plantation and during Segregation\; he attended the African American school at St. Matthews. This six-mile round trip ride will begin at Oakland and visit St. Matthews School. The park provides bikes\, helmets and water. Limit: 20 adults and young adults. Reservations are required\; call 318-352-0383\, x 201. 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
