DESCRIPTION:Ranger Tim will present "Juke Joints\, Horse Races\, and Baseball Games: A Bygone Era of Cane River History."  This 14-mile round trip FREE bike ride will begin at Oakland Plantation and will follow the historic Isle Breville down Cane River. During the mid-20th century\, this area was the home of several jukejoints and baseball fields. Horse racing was also a popular past time for Cane River Creoles. The park provides bikes\, helmets\, and water. Limit: 20 adults and young adults. Reservations are required\; call 318-352-0383\, x 201. 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
