Lunchtime Lagniappe: Restoring our Languages

Abigail Boykin and Margaret Fegan share their work with the Choctaw-Apache of Ebarb to revitalize two heritage languages: Adaeseno (Sabine River Spanish) and the western Mobilian Trade Jargon (Yama). Led by the Ho Minti Society, this effort supports community members in northwest Louisiana and beyond as they reconnect with their linguistic heritage. This event is free and open to the public.
