NEDA Q3 | Training for Tomorrow: BPCC's Fast-Track Pathways to In-Demand Careers

As industry evolves across North Louisiana, the need for skilled, career-ready talent is evolving with it. Creating accessible pathways between education, training, and in-demand careers is an important piece of building a workforce equipped for what comes next.

At this quarter’s NEDA Breakfast Club, discover how Bossier Parish Community College (BPCC) is responding to workforce needs through industry-driven programs designed to turn skills into career opportunities. Jonathan Keith, Director of the Center for Advanced Manufacturing, Engineering, and Technology (CAMET), and Mark Colwick, Program Coordinator - EMPWR LA,  will highlight BPCC’s EMPWR LA – STEM initiative and new fast-track training opportunities, the industry needs behind these programs, and what it would take to expand access to these resources in the Natchitoches area.

The conversation will also explore the role local employers, educators, and community partners can play in strengthening workforce pathways, connecting people with training opportunities, and helping ensure local talent is prepared for in-demand careers.
