Electrician Maintenance Hourly

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot electrical systems throughout the plant.
• Maintain electrical equipment through preventative maintenance procedures.
• Assist in implementing new control systems.
• Research and develop improved electrical controls and processes.
• Track recurring electrcial issues and develop corrective solutions.
• Identify equipment weakness related to electrical systems and recommended improvements.
• Understand technical functionality of electrical equipment and train operators/technicians on operation and troubleshooting.
• Support maintenance personnel to ensure efficient production operations.
• Perform all other duties as assigned by supervisor.

What You'll Need:

• Education: High School Diploma/GED preferred
• Experience: Electrical experience required; minimum of 305 years industrial electrical experience preferred; Additional relectrical certifications (technical college or manufacturing certifications) preferred
• Skills: Knowledge of industrial manufacturing equipment and mechanical systems; General math skills required to perform maintenance duties; Ability to read and interpret documents, drawings, schematics; Basic knowledge of standard and metric measurements; Ability to work assigned shifts, including weekends as needed; Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to work in extreme Cold/Hot temperatures, ability to stand and use hands for 8-11 hours per day and lift 50 lbs or more.
