Natchitoches, LA, August 28, 2026 - A pair of free, "sold-out" events lit up the Natchitoches Parish Library (NPL) recently as disco lighting and dark lights illuminated the Main Branch's first floor and invisbile laser beams streaked across the second. Natchitoches, LA, August 18, 2026 - The Natchitoches Parish Library's (NPL) summer Sprout program recently held its final session with a "Christmas in July" visit from the Cane River National Heritage Area (CRNHA). CRNHA representatives Jessica Mullican and Kacy Young led a Christmas-themed craft as part of a countdown heralding the centennial of the Natchitoches Christmas Festival.
