17th Annual Natchitoches Jazz/R&B Festival

                    BREAKING NEWS!  CAJUN PAWN STARS TO APPEAR AT NATCHITOCHES JAZZ/R&B FEST

NATCHITOCHES:  Some of the members of the cast of the hit new History Channel series CAJUN PAWN STARS will be making personal appearances at this weekend's NATCHITOCHES JAZZ/R&B FESTIVAL on the downtown bank of the Cane River, according to festival organizer Phillip Wilkerson. 
        We're very excited that some of the stars of that popular show have agreed to come to our Festival and mingle with the fans, said Wilkerson.  They have said they'll be happy to sign autographs and allow people to have their pictures taken with them. 
          The Festival begins on Friday, March 30 at 4 pm with four bands playing including Nashville Country star Frank Foster and 80's tribute group PopRocks!  There is no admission on Friday.
           There'll be a wide variety of of music being performed on three stages on Saturday, including performances by Rock and Roll Hall of Famers THE FAMILY STONE, Rolling Stones tribute act SATISFACTION, and THE LOUISIANA MUSIC HALL OF FAME BAYOU BICENTENNIAL CARAVAN featuring Cajun star JO-EL SONNIER, TRINI TRIGGS, JOHNNY EARTHQUAKE AND THE MOONDOGS, and many more. 
            "We're not sure exactly when and at what time THE CAJUN PAWN STARS will be at the Festival," said Wilkerson, "We just know they're going to spend quite of bit of time with us.  We hope they'll be here Friday, and are sure they'll be here Saturday as well." 
              Tickets for the Festival are 8$ in advance and $10 at the gate for adults, and $4 in advance and $5 at the gate for students.  Children 12 and under are admittted free.
