2012 Bark for Life

A Canine Event to Fight Cancer
 
 
The event will be held this  Saturday, March 17th with registration beginning at 9:00am and the event will last until 1:00 pm. Participants will receive a T-shirt and dog bandana. These items are limited, so please sign up early! The event will be on the corner of St. Clair & Williams Avenue in Downtown Natchitoches.
 
What is Bark for Life (BFL)?BFL is a non-competitive one mile walk that you can participate in with your dog. The walk will begin at the corner of St. Clair Ave and Williams Ave. Hope for Paws, The Humane Society, & Happy Tails will have adoptable dogs for the day if you would like to walk a canine friend for a donation. There will also be pet contests including Best Kisser, Best Dressed, and Best Trick!
 
Donations will be accepted for local shelters. Items needed include; med. dog collars, Pedigree Dog Food (No red dye), bleach, towels, dog shampoo, and cleaning supplies.
 
Registration: 
$25 for the first registered dog
$15 for each additional dog
**Each registered participant will receive a Bark for Life T-shirt, dog bandana & doggie goodie bag
 
Event Activities Include:
Demonstrations, Vendors, Canine Contest & Door Prizes and Survivor Celebration
 
Can Teams Participate? Yes, we would love for teams to come out and fundraise with us! All money that you raise will count for your team. Please note, there will not be electricity and you are responsible for your area (tent, supplies, trash, etc.).
