2012 Relay for Life Team Captain meeting

There are already 37 teams registered, so we are almost to our goal of 40 teams and there is still more than a month until our American Cancer Society Relay For Life event! We are so excited about this year's event, and we hope that you are too!
If you have team members who haven't registered, please remind them to sign up online, or have them fill out the registration form attached in this email. Please remember, these must be turned in at the meeting on March 15th to be guaranteed a participant shirt.
Very Important!!!! The Deadline to be guaranteed a Relay for Life participant shirt is March 15th. You must be registered either online or by filling out the registration form. Extra shirts will not be ordered. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
Remember our website is, relayforlife.org/natchitoches. Do not forget about online fundraising either. You can send emails to your family and friends, have a link to your personal fundraising page and have them donate directly there. How easy is that?!?
Our next team captains’ meeting is Thursday, March 15th at 5:30pm in the Stroud Room at the NSU Athletic Field house.
We hope you can make it, but in case you are unable to attend, please send a team member to get any information that you will miss. We will be discussing fundraising tips and ideas for team fund-raisers, as well as updates about logistics and entertainment. We will have the layout for this year's event. Please remember, teams will choose their campsite at our next meeting on April 5th at 5:30pm in the Stroud Room. Campsites are chosen on a first come-first serve basis. It is VERY important that you have a representative there! If you still need a team captain's packet or any posters, you can get them at the meeting as well. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us.
Also due at nest Thursday's meeting is the Paint the Town Purple bow order form. The bows are $20 each, and should be sold to local businesses, churches, team members, ANYONE! The bow are to be displayed during the entire month of April in support of Relay for Life. All bows that you sell count towards your team total! The form is attached to this email.
