A Cultural Legacy ? Creole at Cane River Kitchenware

Are we excited about this one? You betcha! Join us as John la Fleur II, of Creole- Gourmet Secrets of Louisiana, creates a fabulous evening. His Cookbook will be on sale for the first time- 20% off that night-at Cane Rive Kitchenware! He’ll be show -casing his favorite recipes from his incredible cookbook. We’ll be starting the class with a “Kir a la Mademoiselle”, followed by a “Sautéed Cayenne Almonds”, a “Pickle, Fruit and Shrimp Salad”, followed by a “Creole Eggplant with Shrimp and Fried Bacon” and to top off the evening “Bananas Foster a la Creole” for a delicious dessert. (If you’re not sure what we’re describing, neither are we, but we are absolutely sure it will be fabulous!) And don’t forget about the wonderful wines and brews that Maggio’s will be providing.
