Art Fun!damentals Kids Camp
Northwestern State University’s Department of Fine and Graphic Art will offer the Art Fun!damentals summer camp for children 5-11 years of age. Three week sessions are available.
Sessiontwo, “Blinded Me With Science!” will be held June 11-15. This week’s activities will showcase the ways in which art and science impact each other as participants make photograms,paper and weight-bearing structures from unusual materials.
Times are 1-5 p.m. Monday-Friday. Campers can be dropped off at the NSU Fine Arts Complex as early as 12:30 p.m. and picked up as late as 5:30 p.m. Tuition is $145 for each week session, which includes a snack and all materials. A sibling discount is available. Checks can be made payable to the NSU Foundation.
