CADDOFEST 2013

CADDOFEST 2013 is the combination of a music festival, tailgating, and a pep-rally to celebrate school spirit the day before taking on longtime rivals, Stephen F. Austin, in the battle for Chief Caddo. CaddoFest 2013 will be held Friday, November 22 on the Northwestern State University campus Friedman Student Union from 2:30 p.m.-10:30 p.m.. This event is put on by the student-run radio station KNWD 91.7 FM  in collaboration with fraternities, sororities and recognized student organizations who will take part in the event.  NSU athletics will also be making a special appearance for a pep-rally during the festival.
                                                                                               
Musical acts include Engine, Hwy Lions, Dubonauts, Alexandra McCullough, Aubrey Lane, French The Bradford, Carley5k, Paxton Britt, Brick Road Slide Show, Niqua and Simone Giles. Vendors include Domino’s Pizza, Tropical Drinks, and Barnes and Noble.          
 
This event is part KNWD’s new found commitment to bring exciting concerts to the NSU campus. There will also be a live arm wrestling contest with the winner receiving the title of “CaddoFest Chief.”
