| Calling all Young Chefs for Cane River Kitchenware's Camp Cook! |

"Camp Cook" Cane River Kitchenware is hosting a six-session summer day camp for young Chefs! We invite Chefs', ages 3 to 5, to come cook on Mondays from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. and Chefs' 6 and older please join us on Tuesdays from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. Each chef will learn how to use a variety of kitchen tools and kitchen gadgets, learn how to set a table, food and kitchen safety, as well as preparing and eating their own creations! This will be a great learning experience and a fun hands-on cooking camp. The price will be $150 per young Chef for all six cooking classes or if they want to bring home they tools they are using and learning about, the cost will be $200. We are limiting the number of Chefs so be sure to sign up soon by coming in or giving us a call at 318-238-3600. The classes will run from June 18th/19th to July 23rd/24th. The classes will have the same themes for both age groups but will vary in degree of difficulty and tools according to age group. Here is an overview of what will be going on: July 16/17-Pizza Party -Use the knowledge they have learned about dough and create their very own pizza crust -Learn about seasonings and how to use a can opener, how to peel garlic and use a garlic press to create pizza sauce -Learn how to use a grater -Experiment with toppings -Prepare ice cream for last day of class -Set table appropriately, decorate table and practice good manners We love our Kid Chefs!
