Cane River Green Market/ Boot Camp and Animal Adoption Event

The Cane River Green Market is excited to continue its summer season on Saturday, June 23 with an exciting array of activities in celebration of National Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Month.

Featured market activities will include:

A "Flab to Fab" boot camp (8:30 - 9:30 am) - More details below
An animal adoption event with Natchitoches Hope for Paws
Free samples of fresh market fruits and vegetables
A kid's coloring station
Live musical entertainment by Luke Jazz Trio (9:00 - 11:00 am)

As always, market customers can choose from a wide variety of fresh fruits and vegetables from Green Market produce vendors. Customers can also enjoy a selection of value-added products including farm fresh eggs, baked goods, jams, jellies, pickles, honey, fresh flowers, herbs and much more. Hand-crafted items are also available including jewelry, woodwork, stained glass and other items.

Green Market Boot Camp

"Flab to Fab" Boot Camp Continues Saturday

The "Flab to Fab" boot camp will be offered from 8:30 - 9:30 a.m. every Saturday during the month of June. Participants of all ages and fitness levels are welcome to attend and encouraged to bring water and a towel.

The boot camp will be instructed by Jessica Salter-Shirley, a certified fitness instructor and owner of Pure Fitness Solutions.
