Free Zumba Class Continues

Don't miss out on the free Zumba class being offered at the Green Market this Saturday, October 20 from 8:30 - 9:30 am.

Zumba is a Latin-inspired dance fitness workout and the free classes will be offered every Saturday from 8:30 - 9:30 a.m. The classes will be instructed by Kimberly Davis who regularly teaches Zumba at Northwestern State University's Wellness, Recreation, and Activity Center. Participants of all ages and fitness levels are welcome to attend and encouraged to bring water and a towel.

Incorporation of the Zumba classes into the fall markets is made possible by a health and wellness grant from the Foundation for the Mid South.

Shop the Green Market for the following items:

Fresh fruits and vegetables
Value-added products including farm fresh eggs, baked goods, jams, jellies, pickles, honey, fresh flowers, herbs and much more
Hand-crafted items including jewelry, woodwork, stained glass and other items

WIC and Senior vouchersissued over the summer can still be redeemed at the fall markets for fresh fruits, vegetables, and herbs. Senior voucher recipients can also use their vouchers to purchase locally grown honey.
