Cane River Paddle Sunday Funday Races
SUNDAY FUNDAY RACES
Join Cane River Paddle Sports on the riverbank from 2 -4 pm for some fun & exercise.
$20 entry fee for 3 races (all inclusive)
Race each rae on a different watercraft.
Chose from paddle kayaks, pedal kayaks, SUP(standup paddle board) and pedal SUPs.
Races
25, 50, & 100 meter sprints
1/4 mile closed course around 3 buoys
1 mile relay between Church St. & Keyser St. bridges
(bring a team)
Registration will be on the riverbank below Williams Ave & the Church St. bridge where the NSU rowing team boats are positioned and will start at 2:00pm.
No experience necessary. A brief 5 minute lesson followed by a 15 minute practice session will insure you are ready to race any available watercraft.
Bring your cooler, umbrella, favorite beach chair.
Bring your sorority, fraternity, friends, family.
