16th Annual CANE RIVER ZYDECO FESTIVAL & POKER RUN

All musical events are held on the downtown stage in the historic district. Poker Run events will cover specified routes throughout Natchitoches Parish.

The Cane River Zydeco Festival began in 1999 by members of the Magnolia State Police Officers Association, Cane River Branch. The Magnolia State Peace Officer’s Association is the state wide organization that started the Toys for Tots program. They also help the community through other various programs such as community service, Shop with a Cop, food baskets and preparing Thanksgiving dinners for underprivileged families. Proceeds from this event assist in funding various community functions around Natchitoches Parish.
