10:00-12:00 GOV CON 101: Introduction to Government Contracting. If your company has considered selling to federal, state, or local funded institutions or projects, you will not want to miss this informative presentation. This course will cover: government marketing fundamentals, information about federal, state, and local solicitations and bids, identifying opportunities related to stimulus funding, and certification processes and procedures. 2:00-4:00 pm GOV CON 202: Accessing and Understanding Solicitations. Designed to help you locate open bids and understand how to read a solicitation. We will help guide you through the government solicitation/bidding process, advise you on what to look for, and understand the basics of bidding. This course will cover: NW LA GPC, Bid Match overview, accessing solicitations, and understanding solicitations.
