2013 Legislative Issues Conference

The Featured Speakers are Jim Patterson and Brian Landry and Tax Reform is the dominant issue of the upcoming Session.

Jim Patterson is LABI's Vice President of Governmental Relations; Director of the Employee Relations Council, and Workers' Compensation and Unemployment Compensation Task Forces.  Jim is a Senate floor lobbyist and oversees LABI's  lobbying team.  He will be presenting LABI's priorities for the upcoming 2013 regular legislative session, states's fiscal outlook and will discuss federal legislation that could dramatically affect Louisiana businesses.

Brian Landry is LABI's Vice-President of Political Action.  In addition to directing LABI's four-pac operation, he serves as director of the Small Business and Government Reform Council and the Technology Advocacy Council.  Brian joined the LABI team in 2000 as a regional marketing manager, and has been a House floor lobbyist since 2005.
