Legislative Issues Conference

President Stephen Waguespack, replacing long-time LABI President Dan Juneau, will present LABI's plan for the 2014 Legislative Session.  These efforts will focus primarily Workforce and Civil Justice Reform.  The Chamber has worked on Workforce locally for some time and we encourage you to hear how LABI plans to address these same issues legislatively.  Additionally, discussion on Civil Justice will address issues like the $50,000 threshold for a jury of peers and how that impacts so many cost-areas in our state.

This informative session will preview the upcoming legislative session, discuss current issues and explore potential areas of impact.  Sodexo​ will provide a great lunch.  Don't miss this this informative luncheon!
