
Law Talks - How to Navigate Online Legal Resources (Virtual Workshop)

The Natchitoches Parish Library (NPL) is pleased to once again participate in the statewide "Lawyers in Libraries" program, in partnership with the Louisiana State Bar Association (LSBA), the State Library of Louisiana, and the Louisiana Library Association (LLA). Now in its 12th year, this important initiative connects Louisiana residents with local attorneys for free legal information and resources.
This year's program will take place October 20-24, featuring both in-person consultations and virtual educational sessions on timely legal topics. The online sessions will be livestreamed daily from 12-1 pm on the LSBA Louisiana Lawyers in Libraries Facebook page.
Local residents can also take advantage of free, 20-minute in-person consultations with District Attorney Billy Joe Harrington at either NPL Branch:
Main Branch 3rd Floor Meeting Room (450 Second Street)
- Monday, Oct. 20 | 1-3 pm
- Wednesday, Oct. 22 | 11 am - 1 pm
- Friday, Oct. 24 | 10 am - 12 pm

- Tuesday, Oct. 21: Child Support & Visitation
- Wednesday, Oct. 22: Interdictions, Guardianships, & Alternatives
- Thursday, Oct. 23: Wills & Estate Planning
- Friday, Oct. 24: How to Navigate Online Legal Resources
