Light the Way 5k and Fun Run

The Light the Way 5k and Fun Run is back for year three! This night-time race is entirely lit with the famous Natchitoches Christmas lights, and has become a favorite annual 5k of both locals and visitors. This year's race will take place on the Sunday following Turn on the Holidays, Sunday, November 20th. 

Runners of all ages and experience levels are encouraged to participate. Prizes will be awarded to winners in each age bracket as well as those with the most Christmas spirit; so get creative and have FUN! Team themes will be considered.

A portion of the proceeds from this event will benefit the Natchitoches Chamber Foundation. The Chamber's foundation exists to transform our business community through education, leadership development, and workforce development based initiatives that drive progress in our community. The foundation supports important initiatives such as Leadership Natchitoches, the A+ Coalition, and the Natchitoches Young Professionals.

3:30 PM - 5:30 PM - Registration & Packet Pick Up*

5:30 PM - Warm Up

6:00 PM - Welcome

6:15 PM - Fun Run Begins

6:45 PM - 5k Begins

7:30 PM - Cool Down 

7:45 PM - Awards Ceremony
 

*Runners are able to pick up their packets early, the Friday before the the race. Early Packet Pick Up will take place on Friday, November 18th, at the Chamber Office, located at 373 Second Street, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
