Lunchtime Lagniappe: Briarwood Nature Preserve

Lunchtime Lagniappe: Briarwood Nature Preserve

Please join the Louisiana Sports Hall of Fame and Northwest History Museum as Bayli Quick Broseete, curator at Briarwood Nature Preserve, talks about the sanctuary and the legacy of Caroline Dorman, a pioneering conservationist, and the first to advocate for the creation of a natural forest in the United States. Briarwood strives to carry on Dorman's work by preserving wildflowers native the South and educating the public about natural forest ecosystems.

Free and open to the public.
Visitors are welcome to bring their lunch and eat while they learn.
Please visit the FLASH Facebook page or call (318) 357-2492 for more information.
