"Neon Night for a Cure" 5K Run & LSU Tailgating Party

The Neon Night For a Cure is a 5K fundraiser benefiting the American Cancer Society's Relay For Life. 2014's event will be held on Saturday, November 8th beginning at 5:00 p.m. Bring your glow sticks, neon colors, and tutu's so we can run for a cure.

The event will take place on Saturday, November 8, 2014 beginning at 5:00. Registration will begin at 5:30 and run/walk will begin at 6:00. It is a themed run so bring your neon colors, glow sticks, and tutu's. The event will go down Saint Clair Ave, turn onto Whitfield Dr, turn onto East 5th St, go down Adelaide, turn onto Sirod and then end back at lot at the corner of St Clair and Williams Ave. There will be fun jumps for the kids, music, and activities. 

For those worried about missing the LSU vs Alabama game, NO WORRIES!  Suddenlink has partnered with the American Cancer Society to provide the game, to be shown on a big screen at the corner of St. Clair & Williams Avenue.  Join the tailgating party, beginning at 7:00 pm, immediately following the "Neon Night for a Cure" 5K fun run..  Bring your lawn chairs and cheer on your favorite team!  Food, drinks and snacks will be available.
