NSU Gumbo Cook-Off
NSU Gumbo Cook-Off against the Texas A&M Corpus Christi Islanders! Can you cook a mean gumbo?! There is no restriction on what kind of gumbo you prepare as long as it is yummy! Can't cook? No problem! Come out to the games and choose your favorite gumbo recipe by participating in the People's Choice Category. Proceeds from this event will benefit the American Cancer Society. There NO COST to the public to eat (Gumbo is free).
Prizes:
- 1st Place- Gumbo Cook-Off Paddle, 4 VIP tickets to any 2013 Home Football Game
- 2nd Place- $15 Gift Certificate to Trail Boss
- People's Choice- 4 Softball Outfield Club Passes and a 42quart Crawfish Boiler Pot (Winner is chosen by money donated to your team's jar)

Fees/Admission
The entry is $50. Judging will begin at 6:30 p. m. We are asking our teams to prepare enough for 100 small sample servings. Please make checks payable to NSU Athletics.
