NSU School of Business Reunion
Northwestern State University’s School of Business will host a Homecoming reception for student, alumni and friends from 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Saturday,Oct. 27 in the Natchitoches Room in Russell Hall. The brunch will include the presentation of awards and recognition of outstanding faculty and alumni.
During the event, administrators will recognize AdvoCare International with the Director’s Outstanding Business Award and its founder, the late Charles E. Ragus, with the School of Business DistinctionRecipient. AdvoCare is a leading nutritional supplement company. Ragus, a 1965 graduate of Northwestern, founded the company in 1983. Following his death in 2001, the Charles Ragus (Founder of AdvoCare International) Family Endowed Chair was established in his honor in the School of Business at Northwestern State. Ragus was inducted into the NSU Hall of Distinction, the Long Purple Line, in 2002.
Faculty who were named 2012 recipients of School of Business professorships will also be recognized, along with those who earned faculty achievements and promotions and students who earned scholarships.
