NYP July Membership Meeting

The NYP Membership Meeting had been previously scheduled for Thursday, July 14, 2016; however, a great opportunity to access some top tier education policy experts presented itself and the Board wanted to make sure that NYP members could avail themselves of the opportunity to hear from these folks.

Therefore, the membership meeting will now be Wednesday, July 13, 2016 at 11am to Noon, and will include a panel discussion presented by the following:
 Brigitte
Neiland, with the Louisiana Association of Business and Industry (LABI); Stephanie Deselle, with the Council for a Better Louisiana (CABL); Kelli Bottger (Director, Louisiana Federation for Children); and Carrie Monica (Stand for Children Louisiana).  These four represent a tremendous knowledge of education policy and history in Louisiana and will be able to not only help you all understand the role that education policy plays in the business world (LABI), but also for the health of our state (CABL) and from the perspectives of parents that need better educational opportunities for their children (Stand).

The event will be at Lasyone's, upstairs, and a light lunch will be served--you must RSVP for this event.

We look forward to seeing you there to learn more about K12 education in Louisiana and what it means to you!
