Off-Campus Housing Fair April 11

NATCHITOCHES – Northwestern State University will host an Off-Campus Housing Fair from 2-5 p.m. Monday, April 11 in the Student Union Ballroom on the NSU campus.

“Each year, NSU has hundreds of students looking to lease apartments in the Natchitoches area. To offer better service to our students and assist our local owner/managers to identify prospective students, we are hosting the first-ever Off-Campus Housing Fair,” said Dr. Chris Maggio, vice president for the Student Experience. 

Natchitoches apartment/housing rental owners and managers are invited to participate. Those who participate should plan to arrive in the back parking lot of the Student Union between 1:30 and 1:50 p.m. where they will be met by a student and shown to their table in the ballroom. Participants should bring flyers, brochures, contact information or sign up sheets of properties to hand to students.

“Participants should be prepared to stay from 2-5 p.m. to visit with students, gauge their interest, gather prospect information and share information about their rentals,” Maggio said. “We hope area rental property owners and managers will take advantage of this one-stop shopping event.
