Photographs and Memories - A Salute to Jim Croce

September 20, 2023 marks the 50th anniversary of the tragic death of singer-songwriter Jim Croce, and five others who died in a plane crash following his concert at Northwestern State University in Natchitoches in 1973. The program will include a screening of the documentary “The Night the Music Died” produced by NSU media students and directed by Melody Gilbert. Following the documentary will be a performance of several Croce songs by local musician Billy O’Con and a panel discussion with guests who attended or met Croce while he was in Natchitoches.

6:35pm: Performance of several Croce songs by Billy O’Con followed by a panel discussion with guests who attended or met Croce while he was in Natchitoches.
We encourage people who attended the concert and remember this wonderful musician to come and share their memories.
Admission is $10 adults, $5 students, seniors, military families and free for current FLASH members. Tickets and FLASH memberships will be available at the door payable by cash, check, or Venmo.
