The Louisiana Hayride's Legacy
Beginning in the late 1940's, Shreveport's "Louisiana Hayride" radio program helped launch the careers of some of the biggest names in music history, including Hank Williams, Johnny Cash and Elvis Presley. On April 29, the Kent family, owner of the Hayride archives, will share their fascinating story of this groundbreaking show.
