English Instructor
An instructor at LSMSA's primary responsibility is to teach high-aptitude sophomores, juniors, and seniors in a small-class setting. Teaching assignments will include introductory Composition and Literature, survey courses in American, British, or World Literature as needed by the department, as well as an elective courses in the candidate's area of expertise. Specialties that complement the existing department include Studies in Folklore, Digital Humanities, Transnational Literature, and/or Cultural Studies. Typical teaching load is 15 contact hours per semester with class sizes of approximately 15 students. In addition to teaching, the successful candidate must be innovative, willing to guide and tutor students, and maintain a weekly office hour schedule for interaction with students.

Salary range for this 10-month position is based on applicant's degree(s) and experience.
