Key Responsibilities:

  • Marketing & Showings: Adertise vacant properties online or offline, promote community amenities, and conduct tours for potential renters.
  • Talent Screenings: Determine applicant eligibility by running credit checks, verifying gross income, contacting references, and reviewing bank statements.
  • Leasing Administration: Prepare and execute lease agreements, explain lease terms to tenants, and collect security deposits and first-month rent.
  • Resident Relations: Assist existing tenants with renewals, address inquiries or complaints promptly, and coordinate move-ins and move-outs.
  • Market Awareness: Stay up-to-date on local rental market conditions, competitor pricing, and leasing incentives.
  • Make Ready: Help staff identify and complete tasks that need to be completed prior to move in.
Essential Skills & Qualifications:
  • Customer Service & Communication: Exceptional interpersonal skills to handle inquiries, resolve issues, and provide welcomeing tours.
  • Sales & Persuasion: Strong ability to showcase property features, close deals, and meet occupancy quotas.
  • Organizational Skills: High attention to detail for managing leases, logging activity in property management software, and keeping accurate tenant records.
  • Industry Knowledge: Understanding of local housing laws, leasing procedures, and standard property policies.
  • Some light travel required.
