October 2024 NSU’s Columns Café taking orders for made-from-scratch Thanksgiving dishes NATCHITOCHES – Northwestern State University’s Columns Café is hosting a fund raiser and offering scratch-made pies, side dishes and yeast rolls for sale just in time for Thanksgiving. The Department of Hospitality Management and Tourism will be selling pumpkin pies, pecan pies, Oreo pies, traditional cornbread dressing, sweet potato casserole, spinach and artichoke dip and yeast rolls made by culinary arts

October 29, 2024 Annual Classic on the Cane Marching Contest set for Saturday NATCHITOCHES – The Spirit of Northwestern Marching Band will host the 35th annual Classic on the Cane Marching Contest on Saturday, Nov. 2 at Turpin Stadium. The competition begins at 10 a.m. The Spirit of Northwestern Marching Band will perform at 4:30 p.m. The Awards Ceremony is at 4:45 p.m. Tickets are $10 for general admission and $8 for senior citizens, military, and children 8 and under. October 29, 2024 NSU Jazz Orchestra to welcome trombonist John Fedchock for Nov. 4 concert NATCHITOCHES – The Northwestern State University Jazz Orchestra will present a concert on Monday, Nov. 4 at 7:30 p.m. in Magale Recital Hall.
