The Performing Arts Program at Bossier Parish Community College and the Cavalier Players proudly present Chicken Little and Friends: Or, The Sky is Falling!, a children’s tale written by the founder of the BPCC Theatre Program, the late Professor Stephen W. Slaughter. Performances are scheduled for 7 pm on Friday, Feb. 14 and 21; 2 pm on Sunday, Feb. 16; and 4 pm on Saturday, Feb. 15 and 22 in the Stephen W. Slaughter Theatre, located in Building C on BPCC’s campus at 6220 E. Texas St. in Bossier

The Krewe of Dionysos held its 12th Night Celebration and presentation of Junior Court on January 3, 2025, at the Natchitoches Event Center. Food was provided by Sweeties BBQ and entertainment by Leonard Sarpy of Wrinkle Free Entertainment. To be eligible for Junior Court, students must be a Senior in High School and be the child or grandchild of a Krewe member. They will also be presented at the Grand Ball on February 15, 2025, and will represent the Krewe in the Dionysos XXVII Parade on March 1,

BPCC Campuses to Close January 9-11 Due to Anticipated Winter Weather Bossier Parish Community College (BPCC) will close its Bossier, Natchitoches, and Sabine Valley campuses on Thursday, January 9, Friday, January 10, and Saturday, January 11, in anticipation of winter weather conditions expected to impact the north Louisiana region.
