NSU's Department of Social Work will host a Lunch & Learn titled, "Practical Approaches to Patient Engagement and Rapport Building in Telehealth" starting at noon Friday, March 21 in the NSU Student Union's Cane River Room. The deadline to Register is March 14.

In the ever-evolving field of healthcare, telehealth has emerged as a vital tool for delivering services. This presentation, led by experienced clinical social workers, will explore practical approaches to patient engagement and rapport building in telehealth settings. Attendees will learn techniques to enhance communication, build trust and ensure patient-centered care by utilizing social work skills ultimately improving patient outcomes and satisfaction.

The program is targeted to both students, faculty and professional nurses, social workers and others interested in telehealth. The program is one hour long. Participants should bring their own lunch.
