Minimum Qualifications
-
- Bachelor's degree required
- 1-2 years experience working in marketing, public relations or event related area
- Prefer applicants with experience working in an educational environment, strong communication and problem-solving skills and demonstrated ability in working with high school and college age students
- Master's degree preferred

Job Specification

Responsibilities include:
- Managing all social media accounts and creating content, campaigns, and engagement throughout the year as it relates to the recruitment timeline and LA Scholar's College such as: Nside View preview days, Counselor Luncheons, Recruiting Receptions, and other events managed through the recruiting Office
- Daily, weekly, and monthly reports which evaluate individual accountability in student recruitment
- Representing the University in a positive manner at all times and performing all job functions to an optimal degree to create a caring, student-oriented campus
- Work-related travel, to include extensive overnight and some our-of-state training and conferences
- General involvement in other admissions and recruiting duties as assigned by the Director
- Participation at all official Northwestern State University and Louisiana Scholar's College functions as required
- Maintaining required work hours as required by the Director
- Developing and executing plans to increase the number of Louisiana Scholar's College prospects, inquiries, and admits
- Serve as a liaison for the University Recruiting and LA Scholar's College
- Supervises student staff assigned to area
