Part-Time Position of Counseling Services Intern

The Counseling Services Intern will work closely with the Personal Counselors and the Louisiana School Student Intervention and Support Team to provide counseling services and support to students.

The Counseling Services Intern will be responsible for conducting individual and group counseling sessions under the supervision of the Personal Counselors. The Intern will also learn and implement therapeutic interventions; maintain communication with faculty, staff, students, parents and guardians; address academic and social concerns; observe licensed Personal Counselors; and manage and maintain accurate and up-to-date records.

The job description, duties, and required/preferred qualifications can be found here. This non-paid 5-month position includes a one-bedroom/one-bathroom suite for the duration of the contract, and a weekly 19-meal plan when students are on campus.
