BPCC Natchitoches to Introduce New CDL Program with Ribbon Cutting on March 11

NATCHITOCHES - Bossier Parish Community College will launch its new Commercial Driver's License (CDL) program with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Tuesday, March 11, at 4pm. The event will take place at the BPCC Natchitoches Campus, located at 6587 Highway 1 Bypass, and will include guided tours as well as a program presentation.

The ribbon-cutting ceremony will highlight the new BPCC CDL tractor-trailer, a state-of-the-art training platform that will serve as a key resource for students in the new program. This milestone marks the official launch of BPCC's CDL program, which will provide hands-on training and teach the essential skills needed for a career in commercial driving. The CDL program is designed to prepare students for careers in commercial driving, adhering to all Department of Transportation (DOT) and Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) Entry-Level Driver Training requirements.

The media is invited to attend this event. Attendees will have the opportunity to tour the BPCC CDL tractor-trailer, meet the program instructor, and learn more about enrollment and financial aid opportunities. Contact Amanda Crane via e-mail if you have any questions.
