Natchitoches Christmas Parade Opens Registration for Participants

The Natchitoches Christmas Festival Committee is excited to announce that registration is now open for participants in the highly anticipated annual Natchitoches Christmas Parade. This beloved holiday event, a highlight of the Natchitoches Christmas Festival, will take place on Saturday, Dec. 7 bringing joy and festive cheer to the community. 

The Natchitoches Christmas Parade is a long-standing tradition, attracting thousands of spectators across the region. Local business, community organizations, schools, and individuals are invited to join in the fun by entering a float, vehicle, or marching group in the parade. 

"This year's theme is "Home for the Holidays," celebrating family, community, and homecoming and highlighting Natchitoches as the heart of the holiday spirit in Louisiana", remarked parade committee representative Rebecca Blankenbaker. "We encourage participants to showcase their creativity and holiday spirit in their floats, costumes, music, and performances."

How to Participate:
Individuals, organizations, and business interested in participating in the Natchitoches Christmas Festival of Lights Parade can submit their applications online at natchitcheschristmas.com/parade-entry-form. The application deadline is Friday, Nov. 15. Participants are encouraged to align with the theme and incorporate festive decorations into their entries. All participants must acknowledge and adhere to the parade's standards of excellence.
