  • Mix and Serve Beverages: Prepare a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks according to restaurant recipes or customer preferences. 
  • Create Specialty Cocktails: Develop and test new drink recipes to enhance the bar menu
  • Engage with Patrons: Provide friendly and attentive service, greet customers, and take drink orders.
  • Provide Recommendations: Suggest drink options based on customer tastes and preferences. 
  • Stock and Organize the Bar: Ensure that the bar is always well-stocked with necessary supplies.
  • Maintain Cleanliness: Keep the bar area clean and organized, including cleaning bar tools and glassware.
  • Monitor Inventory Levels: Track stock levels of beverages and supplies, and order replacements as needed. 
  • Manage Deliveries: Verify the accuracy of deliveries and properly store inventory.
  • Handle Transactions: Manage cash and credit card transactions accurately, provide correct change, and issues receipts.
  • Balance the Register: Reconcile the cash drawer at the end of each shift and report any discrepancies. 
  • Adhere to Compliance and Safety Regulations: Follow local and state alcohol laws, including checking IDs and refusing service to intoxicated customers. 
  • Ensure Safety: Maintain a safe environment by following proper procedures for handling glassware and dealing with spills.
  • Work as a Team: Collaborate with servers, kitchen staff, and management to ensure smooth service. 
  • Assist Colleagues: Help other staff members as needed, included taking food orders or clearing tables during busy periods. 
  • Support Special Events: Assist in planning and executing special events, parties, and promotions at the bar.
  • Stay Updated: Keep informed about industry trends, new products, and techniques to continuously improve skills and knowledge. 
  • Build Rapport: Develop positive relationships with regular customers and provide a welcoming atmosphere.
