Northwestern State University seeks qualified applicants for the position of Instructor in the College of Business.

The successful candidate will teach 15 credit hours of business courses, maintain office hours, advise/counsel students, provide service to the College of Business and Technology as well as NSU, serve on various committees, and assist in program development. Have the ability to meet AACSB scholarly or professional qualifications. Publications and evidence of research capability are expected for scholarly qualifications. Professional engagement and evidence of professional expertise are expected for professional qualifications. Participate in
professional service activities within the college, university, or above. Other duties as assigned by the Director of the School of Business.

The position's starting date is August 12, 2024. Review of applications will begin immediately, and the position will remain open until filled.

Minimum Qualifications

Masters in business or a closely related field is required. Experience in all areas of business will be considered. Ability to teach classes in multiple business fields (accounting, business administration, computer information systems, finance, management, and/or marketing) is desired. Documented higher education teaching experience and documented research or professional records are preferred. Applicants should possess extensive knowledge in business, higher education teaching using a variety of technologies, and a documented record of higher education teaching performance in both face-to-face and online classes. Excellent written and oral communication skills.
